Description
Kaori Shirasaki was a Japanese high school student admired for her beauty and kindness, often regarded as a goddess by her peers. She first encountered Hajime Nagumo in middle school when she witnessed him protecting others, sparking her admiration and eventual romantic interest. Actively seeking him out upon entering high school, she engaged with anime and manga to connect with his interests, establishing her persistent, caring nature and deep emotional attachment.

Transported to the fantasy world of Tortus with her classmates, Kaori awakened as a Healer specializing in support magic. She joined the "Hero Party" led by her childhood friend Kouki Amanogawa but was haunted by Hajime's apparent death after his fall into the Orcus Labyrinth's abyss. Unlike others, she refused to believe he perished, fueling her determination to grow stronger. This resolve solidified during battles like surviving Cattleya's monsters, where her contributions were critical to the party's survival. Reuniting with Hajime, she was initially distressed by his transformed, ruthless demeanor but recognized traces of his former self. Declaring her love, she defected from the Hero Party to join his dangerous journey despite his warnings. Early struggles within his group highlighted her feelings of inadequacy compared to companions like Yue or Shea, though she vowed to overcome this weakness.

A pivotal moment occurred when Daisuke Hiyama fatally wounded her during a demon invasion. Hajime revived her by transferring her soul into the body of Noint, an apostle of the god Ehit. This new form granted her silver hair, enhanced physical capabilities including superhuman strength, speed, and durability, flight, energy-based disintegration attacks, and rapid regeneration. Kaori grappled with identity concerns, using artifacts to temporarily revert her hair and wings to black to avoid association with Ehit's forces. Her psychological growth was tested in the Frost Caverns of Schnee, confronting a doppelgänger mirroring her insecurities and negative traits, emerging with greater self-acceptance.

Her personality blends profound kindness with a fiercely protective streak, especially toward Hajime and her best friend Shizuku Yaegashi. She exhibits a "closet pervert" side, enjoying risqué outfits and indirect intimacy like sharing utensils with Hajime, though she becomes flustered when confronted. While generally selfless, her patience has limits; she violently rebuked Kouki for dismissing her trauma over Hajime's fall and adopted a ruthless stance against enemies. Her moral compass shifted after gaining resurrection magic, leading to a cavalier attitude toward fatal injuries. Post-revival, she disavowed Ehit and the Holy Church, embracing her role as a "heretic" alongside Hajime.

Following Ehit's defeat, Kaori returned to Japan with Hajime's group. Her soul was restored to her original body, now modified with apostle physiology for transformation capabilities. She married Hajime, becoming one of his wives, and maintained her otaku interests, sharing them with him. Her abilities evolved to include spirit magic for resurrection, empathy manipulation, and dream projection, alongside elemental magics and advanced swordsmanship gained from her apostle experience.
