Description
Aoi Inuyama, nicknamed "Inuko," attends Motosu High School as a founding member of the Outdoor Activities Club alongside Chiaki Oogaki. She possesses fair skin, olive-green eyes, and greenish-brown hair reaching her chest, typically styled in a left-sided ponytail secured with a purple hair bobble, with bangs framing her right forehead. Her eyebrows remain visible beneath headwear, and she has a larger bust. For camping, she wears a grey-and-white scarf, a light-blue sweater over a dark-blue shirt, a multicolored skirt, and brown boots; at school, she dons the standard female seifuku uniform.

Kind and affable with a sincere passion for camping, Aoi habitually fabricates elaborate stories or exaggerates truths—a recognized family trait among the Inuyama clan. Her friends detect lies by the disappearance of her irises. She speaks Japanese in the Kansai dialect, attributed to her birthplace in Inuyama, Gifu Prefecture, despite the actual city being in Aichi. Her culinary skills shine during group camping.

In the "Room Camp" OVA, Aoi joins club discussions on gear, regional cuisine, and geography, including recounting her clan's origins. Her family operated the dog-themed "Cafe Inuyama" in Inuyama City, with all members born in the year of the dog, cementing her canine nickname. She shares her March 4 birthday with Nadeshiko Kagamihara.

A decade after high school, depicted in the film, Aoi teaches at Fujikawa Elementary before its closure and later transfers to another school. When the Outdoor Activities Club proposes a campsite project, she volunteers, handling schedules and suggesting a children's area. After the project pauses, she collaborates with Chiaki on revisions, salvaging discarded tires from Fujikawa Elementary for the children's zone. By this time, she drives a Honda N-one as a licensed motorist.

Her background includes the manga comic strip "Inu-Inu-Inuko-san" and a third-place ranking in the series' 2021 popularity poll.
