Vincent Light is a researcher working on the Cambrian Project, an initiative set in a future where Earth has become uninhabitable, driving humanity to undertake interstellar migration via space colonies. His primary mission is to search for the Lost Code, identified as the key to restoring Earth and enabling a return during the Cambrian era. He conducts this work in collaboration with fellow researcher Hannah Anning and a creature known as Pikaia.
