TV-Series
Description
Shun Midorikawa is an A-rank Attacker in Border's Kusakabe Squad. He possesses messy chin-length brown hair and distinctive green eyes. His attire includes two Border uniforms: an initial all-white version with black stripes, collar detailing, sleeve tips, worn unfastened and featuring goggles around his neck, seen during the Border Enlistment and B-Rank Wars Arcs. Later, during the Large-Scale Invasion Arc, he adopts a second uniform comprising a black jacket with gold upper sleeves, white and gold accents, the Kusakabe Squad emblem, and gold boots.

Midorikawa exhibits an eagerness to demonstrate his skills, described as akin to a "puppy dying to show off its talents." This drive manifests publicly when he effortlessly defeats Osamu Mikumo ten times consecutively. He displays competitive intensity, particularly against Yūma Kuga, reacting with frustration to repeated losses before acknowledging Yūma's strength. His demeanor shifts markedly around Jin Yuichi, becoming energetic and excitable due to Jin having saved him in the past. Midorikawa holds deep respect for Jin and actively seeks to join Tamakoma Branch. Despite impulsiveness, he demonstrates logical and strategic thinking during combat.

His combat role focuses on the Attacker position. He engages in significant conflicts, including decisive victories over Mikumo, persistent battles against Yūma during the B-Rank Wars, and participation in Kusakabe Squad's Large-Scale Invasion operations, where his tactical awareness is noted. His combat philosophy is encapsulated in the statement to Lamvanein: "Those who think they'll win are full of openings."

Recruited into Border following his rescue by Jin, Midorikawa rose to A-class status within Kusakabe Squad. His development transitions from seeking recognition through public displays of prowess to engaging in coordinated squad-based warfare during large-scale conflicts. Key relationships include his rivalry with Yūma Kuga, mentorship under Saki Kusakabe, squad dynamics with Kazuma Satomi, Ryūji Saeki, and Hayato Uno, and his aspirational connection to Jin and Tamakoma Branch.

Trivia notes: His name means "spirited horse" (Shun) and "green river" (Midorikawa), coinciding with his eye color. He habitually assigns nicknames to others and prefers grilled meat, achieving victories in rank wars, and Jin.
