Disillusioned by her kin's treatment of outsiders, she departed for Orario and joined the Astraea Familia as the adventurer "Gale." Her clashes with the Evilus organization fueled a rapid ascent to Level 4. The Rudra Familia lured her familia into a trap, spawning the Juggernaut monster that nearly annihilated them. After urging Astraea to leave Orario, Ryuu pursued vengeance, systematically destroying the Rudra Familia and Evilus affiliates through assassinations and sabotage. This earned her an 80 million valis bounty as a fugitive. Severely wounded and near death, Syr Flover found her; Mia Grand nursed her back to health, leading Ryuu to become a waitress at the Hostess of Fertility.
Physically, Ryuu possesses sky-blue eyes and fair skin. She initially dyed her hair green to conceal her identity, though it reverted to its original golden-blonde.
