Chizuru Higaki works as a detective and writer at Mikagura Tokito’s detective agency in Tokyo during the Taisho Era. She is one of three young girls drawn to the agency by Tokito’s genius, assisting him in investigative work. She has a pale complexion, a slim figure, and stands 152 centimeters tall with body measurements of 91-62-90 centimeters. Her brown hair is arranged in long, straight twin braids with spiky bangs, and she has amber-colored eyes. She typically wears glasses and dresses in either a kimono or a school uniform. Naive by nature, she participates in investigations and is known to drink. When Mikagura Tokito disappears, Chizuru, along with colleagues Tomoe and Shigeno, investigates after he is reportedly sighted at a church abroad. There, they find the body of a priest whose arms have been severed. Convinced the death is linked to Tokito’s disappearance, they pursue the case.
