Description
Dragnir, fully designated Draconir Knuckle Dragon, functions as a Digital Friend—an artificial intelligence companion manifesting through Shadowverse cards. Unlike standard Digital Friends, he uniquely possesses the ability to speak, a mystery even to himself due to fragmented and separated memory data. This memory loss defines his core background and development arc.

He first emerges when Light Tenryu installs a Dragoncraft deck gifted by Wolfram Zerga. His immediate capacity for speech astonishes Light and others, marking his distinct nature. In battle, Dragnir actively supports and communicates with Light whenever his card is drawn, serving as both strategic advisor and source of encouragement. His deck mechanics specialize in generating Drago Weapon amulets that arm Dragoncraft followers, enhancing their defense and granting new abilities upon activation.

The discovery that his missing memories reside within separate data devices held by the Seven Shadows sets a critical narrative path. This revelation drives Dragnir and Light to pursue these devices across their encounters with the Seven Shadows, aiming to reclaim the scattered data and uncover Dragnir's origins. This quest for memory recovery fuels his primary character development, intertwining with the larger conflict against the Seven Shadows.

Physically, Dragnir embodies a red, armored dragon aesthetic, complete with a tail, consistent with his Dragoncraft theme. His artificial intelligence status and unique verbal tic further characterize his interactions.
