Within the virtual world of Aikatsu Planet, Kyōko transforms into her avatar, Beat. Beat presents a stark contrast to Kyōko's real-life personality, adopting a rock-oriented, bold persona. As Beat, she uses a rougher speech pattern, rides a skateboard, and exudes a confident, rebellious energy that is nothing like her usual serene self. Despite this drastic change, some of her refined habits persist, such as pouring carbonated drinks into a teacup and drinking them with elegance. The stark difference between Kyōko and Beat is so pronounced that her junior, Mao Otoha, initially fails to realize they are the same person, reacting with great surprise upon learning the truth.
