Description
Keisuke Takahashi, once a bosozoku gang member, rose to prominence in Japan’s street racing scene as a key member of the Akagi RedSuns, a team spearheaded by his older brother Ryosuke. Renowned for his fiery temperament and aggressive, instinct-driven driving, he piloted a yellow Mazda RX-7 Type R (FD3S) with a rotary engine, relying on raw talent until consecutive defeats by Takumi Fujiwara—an underdog in an AE86—forced him to temper his impulsiveness with calculated precision. This rivalry fueled his growth, shaping him into a disciplined competitor.

As the uphill specialist of Project D, Ryosuke’s touring racing team, Keisuke tackled opponents nationwide. His clash with Seiji Iwaki on Mount Akagi showcased his tactical evolution: a strategic outside feint followed by a sharp inside overtake, mirroring Takumi’s signature tactics, secured both victory and a shattered course record. Under Ryosuke’s guidance, he balanced analytical racecraft with his innate reflexes, refining his approach without sacrificing passion.

A fleeting romance with fellow FD driver Kyoko Iwase dissolved when he prioritized racing, while his dynamic with Takumi shifted from fierce rivalry to collaborative respect, culminating in their alliance as Project D teammates. After retiring from competition, Keisuke transitioned to leadership at TK Mach Corporation, managing real estate and automotive ventures while mentoring protégés like Sena Moroboshi and establishing MF Ghost series records.

His career featured audacious victories, including outmaneuvering Takeshi Nakazato by exploiting sidewalks and overpowering Smiley Sakai through tactical gear control. Concluding his racing journey, he pursued professional circuits, enlisting Project D mechanic Tomiguchi to support his final competitive endeavors.
