Mario Lotte is a male student with blonde hair attending the boarding school attached to South America's Church of Saint Rosario. During a Vatican miracle investigation, he appears with long hair among the children present. In one scene, he floats before a cross, both hands bleeding in a manner resembling stigmata. He is later present at a boarding school assembly following a murder, witnessing another child experience a fit and a statue of the Virgin Mary begin to cry, an event declared a miracle.
