Description
Hailing from the Land of Asura, Raoh journeyed with adoptive brothers Toki and Kenshiro to train under Ryuken in Hokuto Shinken. During their initiation, his fierce loyalty surfaced when he saved Toki from Ryuken's test, demanding both be accepted as disciples. Though rigorously trained, Raoh was denied the mantle of Hokuto Shinken successor, an honor bestowed upon Kenshiro. Rejecting the tradition demanding non-successors abandon the art, Raoh killed Ryuken when challenged and departed, driven by an ambition to unify the post-apocalyptic wasteland through conquest. He believed order required overwhelming force and fear, adopting the title "King of Fists".

Childhood friends Reina and Souga, who accompanied him from Asura, aided his rise. Reina mastered the Twin Blades of Sun and Moon, serving as captain of his Royal Guard. Souga acted as chief strategist despite having lost his right leg during an escape from Cassandra prison, later enhanced by a mechanical prosthetic. They helped recruit followers and build his army. This included the wild stallion Black King, whom Raoh earned as a mount by demonstrating respect during a confrontation in the Valley of the Black King. Key allies also emerged: the imprisoned warrior Uighur, who became warden of Cassandra after a stalemate duel with Raoh, and Ryuga, who joined after witnessing Raoh's strength.

Raoh's conquests were brutal campaigns against rival warlords. He clashed with Thouzer, the Holy Emperor and master of Nanto Hōō Ken, a rival in power. Though forming a temporary alliance with Thouzer, Raoh recognized it as tactical, anticipating betrayal. This suspicion proved correct when Thouzer's ally, Juda of the Nanto Kōkaku Ken, exploited Raoh's absence to attack his stronghold. Throughout these conflicts, Raoh adhered to a personal code of honor, disdaining underhanded tactics and respecting worthy opponents. He also faced internal challenges like the enigmatic strategist Sakuya, who secretly monitored him for an unknown agenda and questioned his capacity to rule due to perceived lack of sorrow.

Beneath his ruthless exterior, Raoh harbored compassion, especially for his brothers. He imprisoned Toki at Cassandra partly to prevent interference, later sparing Toki's life during their duel as Toki succumbed to radiation sickness. His complex relationship with Kenshiro shifted from rivalry to grudging acknowledgment of his brother's strength after Kenshiro mastered Musou Tensei. Raoh's deepest conflict involved Yuria, Kenshiro's fiancée. Discovering she was dying of radiation poisoning triggered profound, long-suppressed sorrow within him, unexpectedly granting him mastery of Musou Tensei. Rather than kill her to deepen his power, he placed her in a coma to prolong her life, later using her condition to provoke Kenshiro into their final battle.

In that climactic confrontation, defeated yet unbroken, Raoh channeled his remaining life energy into the sky, restoring sunlight to the ravaged world. His final words affirmed he had no regrets. His legacy endured: he fathered a son, Ryu, later mentored by Kenshiro, and had vowed to liberate the Land of Asura from his biological brother Kaioh—a promise ultimately fulfilled by Kenshiro.
