Description
Fraw Bow, later Fraw Kobayashi after marriage, hails from Side 7 in the Universal Century. She assumes responsibility for Amuro Ray's well-being, compensating for his father's absences and his own neglect of basic needs like eating, sleeping, hygiene, and following critical directives such as evacuation orders.

During the Zeon assault on Side 7, Fraw loses her mother and grandfather in a blinding explosion. Her survival stems from searching for Amuro away from the blast site. Witnessing her raw grief, Amuro forces her to flee, an event spurring him to pilot the RX-78-2 Gundam. She evacuates aboard the White Base alongside other Side 7 civilians: Amuro, Hayato Kobayashi, Mirai Yashima, Sayla Mass, Kai Shiden, Ryu Jose, and the orphaned children Katz, Letz, and Kikka.

On the White Base, Fraw's initial focus on supporting Amuro broadens. She joins the medical staff, later becoming the ship's communications officer. Concurrently, she becomes the primary caretaker for the orphans Katz, Letz, and Kikka, embracing a maternal role. As the One Year War intensifies, her bond with Amuro frays under his psychological burdens, burgeoning Newtype abilities, and attraction to figures like Matilda Ajan and Lalah Sune. During this period, she finds connection with Hayato Kobayashi, who shares his insecurities with her.

After the war, Fraw marries Hayato Kobayashi, formally adopts Katz, Letz, and Kikka, and takes the Kobayashi surname. She becomes pregnant with Hayato's child. Despite her marriage, complex feelings for Amuro linger. Tragedy strikes during the Gryps Conflict when Katz, serving with the AEUG, perishes in the Battle of Gryps. Later, in the First Neo Zeon War, Hayato dies during the colony drop on Dublin, leaving Fraw a widow.

Approaching U.C. 0094, after the Second Neo Zeon War and Amuro's military-declared death, Fraw declines an invitation to a Side 1 memorial ceremony. In a conversation with Kikka, she recalls Amuro's domestic ineptitude and her persistent efforts to ensure his self-care. She supports Kikka's desire to publish a book humanizing Amuro by providing a letter from the late Hayato and Kai Shiden's business card for further contacts.

In alternative continuities like *Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin*, Fraw appears as Amuro's classmate and neighbor. She serves on the class disciplinary committee and actively involves herself in his welfare, reflecting her core character traits established in the primary timeline.
