Description
Horus embodies traditional Egyptian iconography as a falcon-headed deity, reimagined in a super-deformed, cute animal-like style. A distinctive curled "idiot hair" protrudes from his head, visually echoing his naive and clumsy demeanor. As the sky god, he spends little time on divine duties, instead immersing himself in contemporary human routines. His existence centers around a perpetual rivalry with Set, the god of destruction, who subjects him to relentless pranks—from simple pit traps to elaborate schemes like Set’s phantom thief persona in Episode 6, where Horus adopts a Sherlock Holmes-inspired detective role.

To sustain his lifestyle, Horus juggles multiple part-time jobs, including waiter, cook, and delivery person at a restaurant. During shifts, he exhibits earnest patience, such as efficiently managing Set’s intentionally convoluted food orders. His birdlike appearance occasionally leads to mistaken identity, provoking visible frustration when called a penguin.

Within divine social circles, he joins group activities like huddling under a kotatsu in snow, assisting in rice farming, or attending Ra’s banquets. His physical limitations surface during athletic tasks; for example, his landings lack Bastet’s grace when jumping from swings. Familial interactions with Ra involve receiving affectionate head pats and impractical gifts like oversized graphic T-shirts during Ra’s returns from travels. Horus also aids Ra in mundane mishaps, like helping him offstage after a back injury.

His role remains consistent across the series’ seasons and media, functioning as a lighthearted comedic support through his rivalry with Set and integration into human-like routines.
