Description
Fū Inubōzaki founded the Sanshu Middle School Hero Club, serving as its president. She is the older sister of Itsuki Inubōzaki. After their parents died in a Vertex attack two years before the main events, Fū became Itsuki's legal guardian, developing a strong sense of responsibility and protective instincts toward her sister. This drives her commitment to the Hero Club and her duties as a fighter.

Fū exhibits an outgoing, bold personality, often defusing tension with humor, yet demonstrates maturity and leadership in crises. As Hero Club president, she recruits members under directives from the Taisha, the religious organization serving the Shinju (Divine Tree). She initially conceals the Hero Club's true purpose—combating Vertexes threatening the Shinju—from her friends, causing friction, particularly with Mimori Togo. Her charisma and strategic acumen enable her to guide the team effectively against regenerating Vertexes, utilizing sealing rituals and coordinated attacks.

In her Hero form, granted via a Taisha phone application, Fū wields a giant greatsword summoned by her fairy Inugami, allowing powerful strikes and weapon size manipulation. Her second fairy, Kamaitachi, grants throwing knives for ranged attacks. Her combat abilities include superhuman physical traits, telescopic vision, and environmental resistance, supported by Shinju's blessing. The fairies provide near-complete invulnerability by absorbing fatal damage, tied to Shinju's power.

Fū's Mankai form drastically enlarges her sword and enhances her strength but exacts a severe physical toll. After an early Mankai use, she loses vision in her left eye. A subsequent Mankai activation costs her hearing in her left ear. These permanent sacrifices, known as "Sange," were initially assumed temporary, underscoring the Hero System's brutal costs.

Relationships are central to Fū. She shares a close bond with Yuna Yūki but is unsettled by Yuna's self-sacrificial tendencies. Her dynamic with Karin Miyoshi starts antagonistically due to Karin's role as a Taisha envoy, culminating in a physical clash when Fū, enraged by Itsuki's voice loss, attempts to destroy Taisha headquarters. They later reconcile, with Fū nominating Karin as her successor for the Hero Club presidency. Her protectiveness over Itsuki evolves into mutual reliance as Itsuki strives to stand beside her.

In *The Great Mankai Chapter*, Fū participates in the Shinkon Ceremony to repel divine threats. She coordinates with the Sentinels—a scout unit led by Mebuki Kusunoki—for tactical support. During this arc, she grapples with residual trauma, seen in nervous monitoring of Taisha alerts and nighttime restlessness. After the final battle, she transitions into a researcher role by the series' conclusion, while Itsuki pursues singing. Fū's journey illustrates her evolution from shouldering guardianship to becoming a resilient leader navigating physical sacrifices and emotional recovery.
