Cho Hakkai, originally the Great General guarding the Milky Way in heaven, fell to the mortal realm due to greed and was transformed into a monstrous pig-like being. In this form, he tried to marry the daughter of a wealthy human family by using his brute strength to perform farm labor. His monstrous nature was eventually revealed, leading to a confrontation where Son Goku defeated him. Following his defeat, Cho Hakkai was forced into servitude under Monk Sanzo. He now travels alongside Sanzo, Son Goku, Sa Gojo, and Tatsuko—the transformed daughter of the Dragon King—on their journey.
