Description
**Ran Shibuki**, a professional idol and Starlight Academy student, models under the Spicy Ageha brand, earning the moniker "The Beautiful Blade" for her refined beauty and professional poise. Standing 163 cm tall, she has auburn waist-length hair, amethyst eyes, and frequently wears purple-themed coords like Purple Stage, Purple Torte, and High Purple Parade across seasons.

Her formative experience involves her former roommate Mako’s dropout after losing confidence, shaping Ran into a serious, independent, and initially anti-social individual skeptical of friendships. She warned Ichigo and Aoi to "be careful not to disappear together" upon meeting but later overcame her reluctance, co-founding Soleil with them and deeply valuing their bond. She joined STAR☆ANIS and units like Dream Star and Aikatsu8.

Quiet and professionally reserved yet privately kind, Ran has a short temper when provoked. She avoids sweets to uphold her image and dislikes the nickname "Ran-chan," tolerating it only from close friends like Sora Kazesawa. Her skills encompass model walking, posing, martial arts, and marathon swimming (10 km). She uses "Atashi" informally.

Key relationships include mentoring Ichigo Hoshimiya during auditions and sharing a "minder" dynamic with Aoi Kiriya for Ichigo. She collaborates yet often argues with Yurika Tōdō, evident during Stylish Thief☆Swallowtail and Chocopop Detectives auditions. With Sora Kazesawa, she shares a bond of contrasting personalities; Sora eased Ran’s competition anxieties, and they partnered in events like the Partners Cup and drama *Rhapsody of the Desert Moon*. Ran respects her senpai Ema, a former Spicy Ageha muse.

In *Aikatsu! ~Nerawareta Mahō no Aikatsu! Card~*, Ran served as cameraman for a short film alongside director Ichigo and producer Aoi, centering on a magical Aikatsu Card quest. She performed "Idol Activity!" in her Purple Torte Coord during the finale.

Her evolution spans seasons: joining then quitting Tristar in Season 1 to rejoin Soleil before merging into STAR☆ANIS; evolving her aura in Season 2 as a high schooler and becoming the first idol with three Premium coords; touring nationally with Luminas for the Starlight Queen Cup in Season 4; and appearing as an established graduate in later media like *Aikatsu on Parade!*.

Trivia notes her August 3 birthday (Leo), favorite foods (vegetable sticks, yogurt), dislike of fried fish (due to bone-removal challenges), and shared singing voice (Yuna) with Sora. She is one of two idols without a solo performance in her debut season.
