This guise allows him to move freely among humans while searching for the Dream Collet and Pinkies to restore his kingdom. Maintaining his human form requires energy, however, and injury or weakness forces him to revert to his fairy state. In his fairy form, Coco resembles a cream-colored tanuki-like creature with beige fur. He features a salmon-red tuft on his head, triangular ears, blue eyes with black lashes, fluffy neck fur, and a puffy tail. He typically wears the Palmier crown, symbolizing his royal status. His personality blends kindness, trustworthiness, and protectiveness. He readily reveals his true form to aid others and demonstrates deep loyalty, especially towards Nozomi Yumehara. While his human form exhibits calmness and wisdom, his fairy form is more energetic and expressive. Coco's relationship with Nozomi evolves significantly. Initially viewing her as an ally, he develops romantic feelings, frequently protecting her and expressing concern for her safety. This bond culminates in their marriage in "Kibou no Chikara ~Otona Pretty Cure '23~", where he balances kingship with their relationship. His friendship with fellow prince Nuts involves mutual support but also tension when Nuts feels sidelined. Coco also harbors guilt over a past misunderstanding with Syrup, stemming from his sincere but ultimately failed attempts to help. Assuming the Palmier throne in "Yes! PreCure 5 GoGo!", Coco utilizes his crown to bestow Cure Fleurets upon the Pretty Cure team, enhancing their abilities. During a brainwashing incident in "Yes! PreCure 5 GoGo!: Okashi no Kuni no Happy Birthday!", he displays combat skills akin to the Cures and temporarily transforms into "Cure Coco" as part of a joke explanation about Miracle Lights. In the "All Stars DX" films, Coco participates in the fairy assembly at Palmier Kingdom, helping explain the crucial Rainbow Miracle Lights devices. When the monster Fusion attacks the meeting, he flees with other mascots, later reuniting with the Pretty Cure teams. During the final battle, he waves a Miracle Light alongside other mascots to empower the Cures, contributing to Fusion's defeat.
