When Varte and Gallet are arrested for attempting to assassinate government figure Graham Leonard, she aids their escape. Roughly a year later, she steps in to mediate a volatile clash between Varte and Gallet, though her pleas for reconciliation fail. After the battle, she joins Morgan and Snow in bidding Gallet farewell. As a world history instructor, she educates students on influential figures like Barone and Clackey. Later she travels to a restricted human city to visit Gallet, where she discloses a familial tie to Brandon through their shared lineage. Her subsequent efforts to mend the fractured bond between Varte and Gallet prove unsuccessful, culminating in her stunned realization that Varte has ascended as the Mauve leader and declared war against the Unified Government.
