Description
Frederica Greenhill, daughter of Alliance Admiral Dwight Greenhill, was born on February 19, 774 UC. At age 14 during the Imperial invasion of El Facil in 788 UC, she and her mother were among civilians abandoned by fleeing Alliance officers. Sub-lieutenant Yang Wen-li assumed command of the evacuation. Amidst the crisis, Frederica provided Yang coffee as he choked on a sandwich, only to receive his now-infamous preference for tea—a remark he apologized for eight years later. Yang successfully evacuated Frederica, her mother, and millions before Imperial occupation.

Graduating salutatorian from the Free Planets Alliance Officer Academy in 794 UC, Frederica possessed a photographic memory enabling precise recall of events decades later. Following the Battle of Astarte, Admiral Alex Cazerne assigned her as aide to Yang Wen-li in the new 13th Fleet, holding the rank of sub-lieutenant. She served as his adjutant for three years, including during the National Salvation Military Council coup led by her father, which positioned her against him.

After the Alliance's surrender, Yang proposed to Frederica and both resigned from the fleet to marry. Their peace was short-lived. Less than a year later, under pressure from Reinhard von Lohengramm's consul, Yang was arrested. Frederica participated in his rescue, fatally shooting an Alliance officer attempting to execute Yang at point-blank range. She resumed her adjutant role during subsequent campaigns.

Exhausted after the Battle of the Corridor, Frederica fell ill and could not accompany Yang to negotiations with Reinhard. Following Yang's assassination, she became the political representative for the Iserlohn Republic, supporting Julian Mintz as military leader despite stating she "would rather democracy had died than Yang." She later mentored Katerose von Kreutzer, who admired her and observed parallels between Frederica's relationship with Yang and her own parents' dynamic.
