An abnormally tall and muscular woman, Shiru typically wears a scarf and wields a sword as a frontline fighter and leader. Her leadership is tested when the crew returns to their Eija home base to find it under attack by Princess Crystal of Megaronia, forcing them into direct confrontation with the Megaronian military. As captain, Shiru leads her misfit pirates against Princess Crystal's quest to locate and control the ancient, powerful ship Ellcia, directly challenging Megaronian technological and military superiority throughout their conflict.
