Movie
Description
Meena is a kitkin, distinguished by feline traits including animal ears and a tail, residing in Vision's Town of Lanka. She possesses red hair, blue eyes, and wears a distinct outfit: a yellow dress beneath a purple robe, an orange bow at her waist, brown pointed shoes, and a pink headband adorned with a jewel. A pink bow also decorates her tail.
She travels alongside Wataru Mitani and Kee Keema during Wataru's quest. Their initial joint encounter happens at the Bog-Sasaya Border, where they help clear Yuno and Sogreth of false accusations levied by the Knights of Stengel. During this event, Meena and Kee Keema propose their own arrest to expose the knights' flawed logic concerning Firewyrm accessories, an offer the knights refuse. Later, while chasing bandits, Meena expresses surprise upon discovering the bandits are Kitkin and Waterkin triplets. She actively participates in their capture, leading to the knights' intervention and an apology from Captain Leynart.
Meena wields short knives or throwing knives as her primary weapons. Her abilities include healing-type Bravura skills, notably sharing the "Love Song" skill with Yuno. Inspired by Kee Keema's exaggerated tales about Yuno, Meena idolizes her neighbor from Lanka, viewing Yuno with deep admiration.
Meena shares an exceptionally close bond with Wataru, marked by unwavering loyalty and a readiness to support him unconditionally. She aspires to emulate him, and their connection may extend beyond friendship, with hints suggesting romantic feelings on her part. She journeys with him and Kee Keema until their quest concludes.
In the film adaptation, Meena's father appears briefly. Within the video game *Brave Story: New Traveler*, Meena features as a supporting character. During the game's post-completion epilogue, she becomes recruitable as a party member alongside Wataru, Kee Keema, Mitsuru, and Kutz at Level 60, equipped with enhanced gear and abilities for additional content.
