Description
Cream Panda, known in Japanese as Kurīmupanda, is a recurring character in the Anpanman franchise. His head is a cream bun with distinctive panda-like eyes. Chronologically six years old, he is the youngest member of Anpanman's core group of allies and shares a foster sibling relationship with Melonpanna and Rollpanna. Despite his youth and lesser physical strength compared to heroes like Anpanman, Cream Panda displays remarkable courage, a strong protective instinct toward friends, and an unwavering "never give up" spirit. His immaturity sometimes leads to petty squabbles and competitive rivalries with other young characters. The unique hand-like shape of his cream bun head enables his signature attack, the "Guu-Choki-Punch" (named after the Japanese Rock-Paper-Scissors term "Guu-Choki-Pa"). While potentially powerful, this attack often misses its target. He debuted in episode 469 of the television series. Cream Panda appears in the July 7, 2012 film "Soreike! Anpanman: Yomigaere Banana-Jima" (Revive Banana Island!), listed among the cast involved in the Banana Island story. Several episodes focus significantly on him, including "Anpanman to 3-bai Cream Panda" (Anpanman and Triple Cream Panda), "Mimi Sensei to Cream Panda" (Doctor Mimi and Cream Panda), "Cream Panda to Iroenpitsu-jima" (Cream Panda and Color Pencil Island), "Cream Panda to Trump no Kuni" (Cream Panda and the Land of Trump Cards), and "Anpanman to Tekkotsu Cream Panda" (Anpanman and Iron-Boned Cream Panda).
