Description
Cream Panda, known in Japanese as Kurīmupanda, is a recurring character in the Anpanman franchise. His head is a cream-filled pastry with dark circular eye markings resembling a panda, though he objects to being called a panda. Chronologically six years old, he is the youngest core member of Anpanman's superhero team.

Originating from "Custard Land," he was not created by Uncle Jam like most other bread-headed heroes. Instead, he appeared spontaneously within the series' universe and was subsequently adopted into the household of Melonpanna and Rollpanna, becoming their foster brother [citation:][citation:], integrating him into the central heroic family.

Cream Panda exhibits a blend of childlike traits and heroic aspirations. He displays courage, a strong protective instinct toward friends, and a persistent "never give up" attitude, often citing Anpanman as his role model. However, his immaturity manifests in petty squabbles and competitive rivalries with other young characters. He is also characterized by sensitivity and occasional pridefulness, leading him to deny needing aid or having cried.

His primary ability stems from his uniquely hand-shaped cream-bun head, enabling his signature "Guu-Choki-Punch" attack (named after the Japanese term for Rock-Paper-Scissors, "Guu-Choki-Pa"), executed as a headbutt. While potentially effective, this attack frequently fails to connect.

Cream Panda participates in various adventures across the series and films. He debuted in episode 469 of the television series. His film appearances include the July 7, 2012 film "Soreike! Anpanman: Yomigaere Banana-Jima" (Revive! Banana Island). Several television episodes focus significantly on him: "Anpanman to 3-bai Cream Panda" (Anpanman and Triple Cream Panda), "Mimi Sensei to Cream Panda" (Doctor Mimi and Cream Panda), "Cream Panda to Iroenpitsu-jima" (Cream Panda and Color Pencil Island), "Cream Panda to Trump no Kuni" (Cream Panda and the Land of Trump Cards), and "Anpanman to Tekkotsu Cream Panda" (Anpanman and Iron-Boned Cream Panda).
