Description
Dokin-chan, a germ-alien from the Germ Planet, partners with Baikinman in mischief. Her vibrant appearance features an orange-red body, pink shoes, white hands, green eyes, a lone antenna, and a tail echoing Mushibaikinman’s design. She wields a dual-purpose staff—one end enlarges objects, the other shrinks them, though its power wanes with use. A pink UFO serves as her transport, doubling as a tool for kidnappings or cargo hauling.

Her personality mixes selfishness, greed, and immaturity with sporadic kindness. She obsesses romantically over Shokupanman, plastering her room with his memorabilia and fantasizing about romantic scenarios. This fuels rivalry with her younger sister, Kokin-chan, who also vies for Shokupanman’s attention. Though their bond teeters between camaraderie and competition, clashes are frequent.

She frequently orders Baikinman around, demanding assistance while secretly valuing their partnership. Quick to flee confrontations, she shows vulnerability when plans collapse. Her schemes—ranging from kidnappings to petty mischief—often stem more from naivety than true villainy.

Horrorman, a skeleton smitten with her, faces unrequited affection, as Dokin-chan remains fixated on Shokupanman. A comedic mishap occurs when she mistakes Horrorman’s Shokupanman disguise for the real hero, only to deflate upon uncovering the ruse. Beyond episodic antics, she stars in a 1991 film, though its plot specifics are undefined.

Her name fuses “doki” (heartbeat sound), “baikin” (germ), and the endearing “-chan.” International dubs rename her “Spark,” “Dokeen,” or terms highlighting her germ origins. While primarily a comedic antagonist, fleeting glimpses of hidden kindness surface, subtly complicating her role as the heroes’ foil.
