Hidarin is a teddy bear-like creature from the Mirror Kingdom, with yellow fur, green hair, and brown eyes. He wears a red hat, a red costume over a white shirt with pink stripes, and brown pants, always carrying a Miracle Light in his pocket. He is almost inseparable from his identical twin brother, Migirin; both share a timid nature, frighten easily, and often speak together or finish each other's sentences. Though kind-hearted, they serve the villain Shadow under threat of retaliation.

In *Yes! Pretty Cure 5: Kagami no Kuni no Miracle Daibouken!*, Shadow forces Hidarin and Migirin to steal the magical Dream Collet, promising the artifact will restore the Mirror Kingdom's lost crystals. They infiltrate Princess Land, trap the real princes Coco and Nuts inside mirrors, and impersonate them. Disguised as Coco, Hidarin tries to trick the Pretty Cures into surrendering the Dream Collet, but Nozomi's suspicion exposes them. The twins then summon a Kowaina monster to attack the Cures, resulting in their own defeat and capture.

After capture, Milk intimidates Hidarin and Migirin into revealing Coco and Nuts' location and the path to the Mirror Kingdom. Initially fearful of defying Shadow, the twins feel guilt when Milk confronts them. They choose to rebel, saving Milk from an attack and aiding the Pretty Cures in the final battle. Using their Miracle Lights, they help free Coco and Nuts and assist in restoring the Mirror Kingdom's crystals following Shadow's defeat.

Hidarin and Migirin later appear in brief cameo roles in crossover films such as *Pretty Cure All Stars DX3* and *Miracle Universe*.
