Description
Kyle Fluge, also recognized as Kairu Furyūge in Japanese, transitions from a burrower hunter to the Blue Dragon’s rider after stumbling upon a clash between two dragons. While tracking creatures with companions, he discovers an ancient battleship and chases a burrower into ruins, inadvertently causing the death of the Blue Dragon’s original rider. Inheriting the rider’s quest to prevent the Dark Dragon from reviving an Ancient Age tower, Kyle forges a profound mental, physical, and emotional connection with the dragon, confronting bio-engineered monstrosities and imperial adversaries. He obliterates the tower, surviving its detonation under the dragon’s protective shield, only to wash ashore later with the creature’s footprints as the sole remnant of their bond. Post-mission, he vanishes from historical records, abandoning hunting entirely.

In an animated retelling, Kyle hunts alongside his blind lover, Alita, and fellow hunter Devidok. When the Black Dragon abducts Alita and slays Devidok, Kyle allies with the Blue Dragon to save her. Post-rescue, Alita mysteriously regains her sight—a deviation from the original game, where unnamed companions stay behind as he chases a burrower.

Speculation links Kyle to K. F. Craymen, a figure appearing 30 years later, due to shared initials, aligned age gaps, and Craymen’s background as a dragon-knowledgeable ex-hunter. Guidebooks and developer remarks hint at deliberate ambiguity, though official sources never confirm the tie.

Crossover media feature Kyle and the dragon aiding allies against antagonists outside the main storyline. Remake concept art reimagines his design and weaponry, integrating bioluminescent elements inspired by Ancient Age technology.

Post-tower destruction, artwork depicts Kyle isolated under a sky streaked with light pillars, the environment altered by the tower’s fall. While its neutralization implies ecological shifts, his fate beyond disappearance remains unrecorded.
