Description
Kouryu functions as a Chasseur Super-AI robot, designated model number GBR-8 (with some sources noting GBR-9). She operates within the French organization Chasseur, a sister group to the Gutsy Galaxy Guard. Her name means "Light Dragon," establishing her as the younger counterpart to AnRyu. Both represent the latest generation of advanced G-Stone-based mechanoids.

In vehicle mode, she transforms into a pink combat truck featuring a prominent MASER (Microwave Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) array mounted on a crane arm. This weapon hangs over the front windshield in vehicle configuration but shifts to her right shoulder in robot mode. The MASER executes her primary attack, "Primrose no Tsuki" ("Primrose Moon"), firing a concentrated microwave beam. Instead of a standard chest attack, she utilizes an internal Projectile-X system that overloads targets with G-Stone energy.

Kouryu exhibits a cheerful, energetic personality, contrasting with her high-speed processing. Observers like HyouRyu affectionately call her a tomboy due to this spirited nature. Despite her advanced design, she displays comical difficulty with spatial maneuvers, particularly when using propulsion packs for aerial or space operations where precise stopping proves challenging. Her landing capabilities after aerial deployment remain undocumented.

A critical function involves symmetrical docking with AnRyu when their synchronization reaches 100%, merging them into the combined entity TenRyuJin. This capability is integral to their design. Her system architecture incorporates French-language command interfaces, suggesting potential French origins.

Within the conflict narrative, she participates in missions to retrieve regenerative Q-Parts technology, opposing the criminal syndicate BioNet. Her engagements extend to confrontations against the 11 Planetary Masters of Sol, entities threatening universal stability. These operations occur alongside GGG forces pursuing objectives across the Triple Star Solar System.
