TV-Series
Description
Panpaka, an anthropomorphic piglet from the Pants family, upholds their generations-old duty as guardians of sacred undergarments, traversing the globe to recover rare pants. Clad solely in white briefs, the character evolved from a redesign of Taisuke, originally featured in brief musical skits with dancing piglets.

Teaming with Punyan, a purple feline companion who strategizes using only his name as speech, Panpaka faces surreal escapades against rivals like Boark, a competitive pants hunter, and Croli, Boark’s trickster cat ally. Their clashes blend humor and chaos, often yielding mixed victories or absurd fallout.

In *Treasure of the Bananan Kingdom*, a family vacation gone awry thrusts Panpaka into a mythical conflict within the Bananan Kingdom. Mistaken for a prophesied savior, they ally with Wanpoko the Dog, Orson the Crane, and Terry the Monkey to reclaim stolen bananas, showcasing resourcefulness in alien realms.

Early 1-minute shorts highlighted musical group routines with occasional underwear-related slapstick. Later iterations shifted focus to solo adventures, cementing Panpaka’s standalone role. Spin-offs include LINE sticker sets with voice acting, boosting global visibility.

The character’s design—void of visible genitalia—complements its lighthearted tone, while narratives weave themes of resilience and lineage. Antagonist Black Panpaka mirrors the hero’s pants obsession as a thieving foil. Extended family adds depth: a grandfather sporadically assists missions, while a grandmother conceals a former DJ identity, enriching familial lore with unexpected twists.
