Description
Hailing from the Prism World as a messenger entrusted with spreading the Prism Sparkle across worlds, Rinne experienced an accident upon arriving in the human world that stripped her of memories and emotions. This loss initially rendered her expressionless and emotionally detached in daily life. To conceal her origins, she adopted the alias Rinne Ibara, borrowing the surname of her temporary guardian Chisato Ibara while attending Kakyouin Academy and competing in Prism Show tournaments.

Physically resembling a human aged 14-15, Rinne stands 160 cm tall with short, wavy dark blue hair secured by a green hair accessory featuring three silver hearts. Her round blue eyes and neutral expression create an enigmatic presence that attracts attention, particularly from male peers. Despite this youthful appearance, her chronological age remains unspecified, and she possesses non-human immortality.

Rinne’s personality evolves significantly during her human world stay. Beginning emotionless and socially naive due to amnesia, she gradually rediscovers feelings through key relationships, especially with Naru Ayase. Naru teaches her happiness through simple joys like warm milk, prompting Rinne to smile more over time. During Prism Shows, however, her demeanor transforms entirely—she becomes outgoing, energetic, and joyful, reflecting her original Prism World self.

As a Prism Star, Rinne demonstrates extraordinary skill, executing complex four consecutive Prism Jump combinations—a feat matched only by reigning Prism Queen June Amou. Specializing in a "star" performance style, she wields an electric guitar during Prism Lives accompanied by her image song "gift." Defying rules prohibiting Prism Messengers from performing, she captivates audiences with high-level techniques and a clear singing voice during solo shows, then mysteriously vanishes post-performance.

Her backstory reveals she belongs to a cycle where Prism Messengers return to merge with new incarnations upon mission completion, losing all memories. Rinne’s amnesia resulted from a power-draining duel with June Amou—the prior messenger who defected to remain with her love, Hijiri Himuro. Their conflict pitted Rinne’s Rainbow Feathers against June’s Night Dream Feathers, ending in stalemate that worsened Rinne’s incomplete state and hastened June’s disappearance.

Rinne’s journey culminates in the Over the Rainbow Session, where she aids in restoring the fading Prism Sparkle—magical energy sustaining Prism Shows, Pair Friends, and Prism Stones. After Naru reignites the sparkle through determination, Rinne returns to the Prism World with her partner Starn (a fragment of her original guide Peacock). Her departure erases nearly all human-world memories, though Naru’s catchphrase "Happy naru" lingers faintly as a bond symbol.

Trivia includes her table tennis proficiency using a penhold grip and symbolic quotes like "The string... that ties... hearts together..." and "Place a hand on your chest, it’s not true to claim that there’s nothing there." In King of Prism spin-offs, her legacy persists through Starn, who continues assisting Prism Stars.
