Rinne is a Prism Messenger from Prism World. Though chronologically five years old, she appears as a 14-15 year old girl with short aqua blue hair and round blue eyes. She typically maintains an emotionless, expressionless demeanor and speaks minimally, but her expressions transform dramatically during Prism Shows. After an accident, she arrived in the human world with amnesia, lacking most memories of her origins. She befriended Naru Ayase, attended the same school, and initially lived with her. Rinne demonstrated exceptional talent as a Prism Star, performing four consecutive Prism Jumps—a skill others could not achieve at that time. Her Prism Live instrument is a white guitar adorned with a star, and her solo performances feature the song "Gift."
As her story progressed, Rinne regained fragments of her memories through interactions and experiences, revealing she had sacrificed herself to save fellow Prism Messenger June Amou. This act caused her temporary disappearance, but Naru and others later facilitated her revival. Rinne and June formed a unit to compete in the Winter White Session, debuting the song "Sevendays Love, Sevendays Friend" and achieving six consecutive Prism Jumps together. Rinne's abilities evolved further: she executed five consecutive Prism Jumps independently and attained the Grand Rainbow Crown. This progression culminated in her mandated return to Prism World, requiring the erasure of her memories of Naru and the human world. Despite this loss, Rinne retained the phrase "Happy Naru!"—a linguistic fragment from her time spreading Prism Sparkle there.
Rinne first appeared as a playable character in the Nintendo 3DS game *Pretty Rhythm: My Deco Rainbow Wedding* before debuting in the *Rainbow Live* anime series. Her inclusion in *Pretty Rhythm All Star Selection: Prism Show Best Ten* aligns with her role as a Prism Star across the franchise.
