Parapara, alternately called PallaPalla or ParaPara, operates as part of the Dead Moon Circus's Amazoness Quartet under Zirconia's command, acting on behalf of Queen Nehelenia. Nehelenia corrupted these future Sailor Guardians, forcing them into servitude. Parapara herself is destined to awaken in the 30th century as Sailor Pallas, a member of the Sailor Quartet protecting Chibiusa. Her name originates from the asteroid Pallas, the second discovered in the Asteroid Belt, named after the Greek goddess Pallas Athena. This connects to Greek terms like "pallo" (to brandish a spear) or "palladion" (a sanctuary), evoking themes of protection and wisdom. Physically, Parapara possesses light blue hair styled in a bun, blue eyes, and light skin. Her Amazoness Quartet attire features a blue bikini with darker blue balls, an orange skirt, and ball-motif accessories including a headpiece, necklace, bracelets, and sandals; she is the quartet's shortest member. As Sailor Pallas, she wears a pale blue sailor uniform over a white leotard, a blue chest bow, a star-shaped brooch, and a headdress with metallic rings and hanging pipes tipped with blue orbs. Parapara exhibits an immature, outspoken, proactive, and naive personality, contrasting Sailor Mercury's reserved, analytical nature. She serves as the Amazoness Quartet's primary spellcaster, specializing in magic involving balls. Her attacks include *Tama-no-Kouburi*, *Tama-Yobai*, and *Tama-no-Koshi* (used to grant human forms to the Amazon Trio). She casts barrier spells preventing transformations and interdimensional travel, such as blocking Chibiusa's return to the future. Other spells are *Tama-Yura* (sealing structures), *Tama-Musubi* (capturing targets), and *Tama-Sudare* (inducing nightmares). Within the Dead Moon Circus, Parapara critically advances Nehelenia's goals. She sells Fish Eye to Ami Mizuno in a sabotage attempt, swaps the ages of Usagi and Chibiusa, and traps Sailor Guardians using spells like *Tama-Kazura* (vines). Her magic directly spreads nightmares and enables the dark barrier enveloping Earth. Nehelenia's nightmare energy corrupts Parapara until Sailor Saturn intervenes in the final confrontation. Saturn exposes the Quartet's true identities and purges Nehelenia's influence, causing Parapara and the others to regain their senses. Liberated, Parapara and the Quartet revert to their true forms as Sailor Guardians of the asteroids—Sailors Ceres, Pallas, Juno, and Vesta. They reveal they originated in the Amazon Jungle, sleeping until Nehelenia forcibly awakened them into nightmare forms. After aiding Nehelenia's defeat, they return to dormancy, destined to reawaken only when Chibiusa matures into a full Sailor Guardian in the 30th century.
