Description
Angel is Experiment 624, an illegal genetic creation of Dr. Jumba Jookiba funded by Dr. Jacques von Hämsterviel. Designed as a siren, her song contains a neuro-linguistic trigger to revert rehabilitated beings to evil; its effects reverse when sung backwards. Experiment 626, Stitch, possesses immunity due to his later creation. Initially activated and captured by Captain Gantu, she served as his pawn against Stitch and Lilo Pelekai. Under Gantu's orders, she feigned affection for Stitch to lure him into a trap, but ultimately betrayed Gantu after developing genuine feelings, saving Stitch from other evil experiments. Rescued by Lilo and Stitch from Gantu, she reformed and joined their ʻohana.

In the original continuity, Angel fought alongside others in the battle against the Leroy clones during *Leroy & Stitch*, utilizing martial arts to defend Stitch. Her final appearance showed her in a group photograph at the Pelekai residence.

The anime *Stitch!: Itazura Alien no Daibōken* and later seasons depicted significant evolution, transforming Angel into an intergalactic singing sensation reflecting roughly a decade of fame. Her personality shifted toward that of a "spoiled celebrity," leading to periodic appearances. Though mutual romantic feelings with Stitch endured, her behavior became fickle: she was easily captivated by cliché romantic archetypes. This included Experiment 627 disguised as a human prince, Reuben after Hämsterviel enhanced his confidence, and briefly Kijimunaa after he accidentally defeated Stitch. These infatuations ended when 627 revealed his plot to capture Stitch and netted Angel, and when Reuben prioritized fighting Stitch over rescuing her from Gantu. Following these events, she recommitted to Stitch.

Stitch's relationship with Angel remained central, with his greatest fear surpassing even his original fear of water: Angel's anger. Antagonists exploited this vulnerability, such as Reuben disguising himself as Angel to lure Stitch onto Hämsterviel's cruise ship. In the Season 1 finale "Stitch vs. Hämsterviel," Hämsterviel placed Angel under his control alongside Sparky and Felix. She appeared briefly in the final episode of Season 3 to aid Stitch against Dark End and featured in the special *Stitch and the Planet of Sand*.

Physically, Angel resembles a small, pink koala-like experiment with feminine features: long eyelashes, large dark purple eyes, rounded ears without notches, and a smaller purple nose. Slightly shorter than Stitch, she possesses two long, tendril-like antennae. Her biology grants musical and emotion-based powers, contrasting with the destructive abilities of most experiments.

Angel also appeared in the live-action *Lilo & Stitch* (2025) remake, visible as "624" in Jumba's visual aid during a scene where he threatened to alter Stitch.
