Kanami Yuta, an orphaned girl residing in the Lost Ground, starts unaware of Alter powers. Aged 8 in the anime and 9 in the manga, she lives with Kazuma. She manages their household finances due to Kazuma's unreliable mercenary income, affectionately calling him "Kazu-kun" despite his objections.
