Description
Page Klaus is a Chief Investigator and Executor, a prominent figure within the Magic Law Association. Standing 190 cm tall, he possesses distinctive black hair swept upward to reveal his forehead, piercing blue eyes, a mustache, and a scruffy goatee. He typically wears a white dress shirt with suspenders, a long cape, and carries a cane.

His personality presents a complex duality. He often displays a relaxed demeanor, indulging in pipe-smoking, savoring poetry, brandy, sweetened coffee, attending theater performances like ballet and opera, and taking long walks. Yet, he shifts to sternness and intensity when enforcing magical law professionally. He harbors dislikes for scuffed shoes, machinery, association "hangers-on," parties, and beautiful women. Page considers himself skilled at poetry and raising pupils, and is notably proficient at speed ironing. A core tenet of his teaching philosophy asserts that magical proficiency begins with physical fitness.

His background centers on instructing at the Magic Law Academy, where he trained Toru Muhyo and Soratsugu Madoka (Enchu). He accommodated Enchu's wish to study alongside peers despite knowing about his sick mother, though Enchu later turned to forbidden magic. Page was dismissed as the academy’s principal after implementing hazardous training methods, such as releasing dangerous spirits from magical prisons onto students, which resulted in incidents.

Following his dismissal, Page focused on investigative work within the Magic Law Association. He mentored Yoichi Himukai for six years while investigating Enchu’s activities, developing deep loyalty toward Yoichi. Unbeknownst to Jiro "Roji" Kusano, Page exorcised a ghost from Roji’s childhood friend and gifted Roji his first pair of suspenders—a tie Page later described as instrumental in forging Roji’s "inseparable red string of fate" connection with Muhyo.

Page maintains significant relationships with former students. He refers to Muhyo possessively as "My Muhyo," reflecting concern, and intervenes directly in critical moments, such as rushing to Muhyo’s aid after severe injuries. His past includes a friendship with Tomas, a colleague at the academy who later joined the criminal organization Ark. Page uncovered Tomas’s criminal history during an investigation into stolen student belongings.

Regarded as one of the strongest contemporary Executors, Page Klaus emphasizes inner strength rooted in an "unyielding, kind heart" over superficial power or status.
