Teeki, originally known as Edward Teek, is an ancient practitioner of Forbidden Magic Law and a secondary antagonist. He wears a distinctive wooden mask with four eyes and a large nose, typically concealed beneath heavy fur clothing that obscures his body. Born centuries ago, Teeki was cast out from the Magic Law Association for undisclosed reasons, igniting an eternal hatred toward them. This drove him to pursue immortality through forbidden rituals, discovering a method allowing repeated resurrection that grants him effective immortality. Historical accounts attribute large-scale calamities to him, including causing Mount Fuji to erupt, releasing 100,000 evil spirits in Kyoto, and making the entire Taira army vanish. Teeki systematically manipulated key figures to fuel his vendetta. Observing childhood rivals Muhyo and Enchu, he anticipated their conflict would enhance their magical power. After Enchu lost the opportunity to become an Executor to Muhyo, Teeki murdered Enchu’s ailing mother to catalyze his descent into darkness. Teeki then resurrected himself using her body and taught Enchu Forbidden Magic Law, cementing their alliance. Similarly, he orchestrated Rio Kurotori’s turn to forbidden magic by sending a ghost to kill her mother, exploiting her desperation. Serving as Enchu’s lieutenant in the organization Ark, Teeki demonstrated a sadistic inclination toward destruction. He engineered the Arcanum prison fire to facilitate mass escapes of dangerous spirits, openly relishing the chaos by laughing while setting the blaze and attempting to eliminate Muhyo’s group during the incident. The Magic Law Association had marked him as a threat for approximately 800 years, though his true nature—whether spirit, immortal human, or other entity—remained ambiguous. No official spin-offs, movies, or OVAs expand upon Teeki’s background or development beyond the main series. His character arc concludes within the primary narrative, with no further appearances in expanded media.
