Description
Engineered by Hydra's Emerald Rain Project, Bruno is a genetically modified teenager designed to destroy the Avengers. Raised within Hydra's island amusement park, he was indoctrinated to view Hydra as heroic and the Avengers as villains. His cybernetic enhancements grant air manipulation powers, enabling him to generate potent wind currents and vortices; these same implants require continual Hydra maintenance to sustain his vital life functions.

Bruno remained loyal to Hydra despite awareness of their true nature, convinced their technology was essential for his survival. When his close friend Makoto escaped and enlisted the Avengers to rescue the captive teens, Bruno refused to defect, citing his dependence on Hydra's life-support systems. He appeared to perish after falling into an energy pit during the battle on Hydra Island.

The Masters of Evil later recovered Bruno alive from the island's ruins. He joined their ranks under the alias "Twister," actively opposing the Avengers. During this period, the Leader revealed Bruno and Makoto's direct genetic link to the Emerald Rain Project and their manipulation via exposure to an Emerald Crystal. Despite his service to the Masters of Evil, Bruno ultimately defected near Season 1's conclusion, rejecting their ideology to join Makoto, Adi, and Chloe as a member of the Future Avengers.

Operating with the Future Avengers in Season 2, Bruno participated in missions addressing the Terrigen Mist outbreak. This event granted superpowers to humans and intensified conflict between Earth and the Inhuman kingdom of Attilan. His technical expertise and air manipulation abilities proved crucial to the team's efforts in averting war and managing the escalating crisis.

Bruno's journey traces his evolution from manipulated antagonist to redeemed hero. His profound, brotherly bond with Makoto serves as a persistent motivator, enduring their opposing allegiances. His core conflict arises from his physical reliance on life-sustaining technology and the moral struggle between survival and heroic action.
