Born into Japan’s prestigious Kudō family, she is the granddaughter of Kudō Ken and grand-niece to the patriarch Kudō Retsu. She holds the combat-designated title of Sirius as Stars’ most powerful magician, a position she earned by defeating her predecessor William Sirius in combat. Publicly, she uses the legal alias Angie Sirius, employing illusion magic called Parade to conceal her identity with a guise of crimson hair and golden eyes during missions. In her everyday appearance, she has blonde hair and blue eyes, often securing two wavy tresses with ribbons, and her beauty rivals that of Miyuki Shiba. As a foreign exchange student at First High School, she enrolled under her real name in Class 1-A and became a temporary Student Council officer, replacing Shizuku Kitayama. Her deployment to Japan followed the Scorched Halloween incident, where she investigated potential unregistered Strategic-Class Magicians. Her combat expertise blends high-speed, small-scale magic with close-quarters tactics enhanced by knives, a silenced firearm, and extraordinary movement speed. She possesses Strategic-Class Magic, notably Heavy Metal Burst, controlled via the tactical weapon Brionac, and knows spells such as Molecular Divider, Dancing Blaze, and Muspelheim. She resists parasitic and mental interference magic. Despite her military dedication, she is considered too gentle for a soldier’s mentality; following orders to execute deserters has left her distressed and vomiting. She believes magicians must serve their country and that her strength suits heavy responsibilities. After Tatsuya Shiba defeated her—her first loss as Sirius—and spared her identity, she developed unacknowledged romantic feelings for him. Her rivalry with Miyuki evolved into mutual respect and friendship, and Miyuki later influenced her defection from Stars. Following a rebellion within Stars, she defected to Japan with assistance from Colonel Virginia Balance. Naturalized as Toudo Rina through adoption by Toudo Aoba under a Yotsuba-arranged cover, she serves as Miyuki’s permanent bodyguard, with her livelihood guaranteed by the Yotsuba clan.
