Description
Chihaya Kisaragi, in the context of the anime Puchimasu!, is represented by her Puchidol counterpart named Chihya-. A Puchidol is a miniature, chibi-style version of an idol from the main The Idolmaster franchise, and Chihya- is directly based on the 765 Production idol Chihaya Kisaragi. While the original Chihaya is known for her serious, reserved personality and powerful singing voice, Chihya- possesses a distinct and much more exaggerated set of traits suited to the series' slapstick comedy.

Chihya- is characterized by a very particular and physical form of affection. This Puchidol enjoys close physical contact, or skinship, specifically with flat-chested girls. However, this behavior changes drastically when encountering a girl with a larger chest; towards them, Chihya- becomes violent and aggressive, with the notable exception of the character Ritsuko Akizuki. This quirky personality directly and humorously references the original Chihaya's well-known insecurity regarding her own small bust size, a recurring theme in the main franchise. The Puchidol's notable cry is "Kuh!" and "Shah!".

Within the short, episodic stories of Puchimasu!, Chihya- shares a close bond with her owner and human counterpart, the original Chihaya Kisaragi. Her role is to participate in the absurd and lighthearted daily scenarios that befall the idols of 765 Production, often contributing to the chaos through her unpredictable behavior. For instance, in one episode, she accompanies Chihaya as they stumble upon other characters performing yoga in a library, a situation that embarrasses her original self. Chihya- also has a seasonal physical development; during winter, her hair grows to great lengths and even forms cat-like ears. This ability is a unique trait not seen in the original human character. Through these comedic interactions and exaggerated quirks, Chihya- serves as a playful parody of Chihaya Kisaragi's most recognizable personal attribute.
