Chuukou Kyocho, also known as Kyocho Chuukou, attends Kyosho Academy. Rescued from torment at her previous school by Moutoku Sousou, this event ignited deep loyalty and hope within her. She transferred specifically to protect Sousou, a duty assigned by Chutatsu Shibai. Her commitment proves vital when Sousou enters his dangerous dragon state; uniquely unafraid, she approaches him to transfer chi and restore calm.

Physically, she stands notably tall with green shoulder-length hair. Her typical attire consists of gym clothes, knee pads, and elbow pads, signaling constant combat readiness. Her long limbs and height also grant her skill in volleyball, an activity shared with teammates.

Emotionally reserved, Chuukou displays little outward expression. Despite this reserve, she exhibits profound care and fierce loyalty towards Sousou and the Kyosho Academy members. This protective instinct fundamentally drives her interactions and combat engagements.

Throughout various conflicts, Chuukou engages in significant battles. She overpowers Ekitoku Chouhi with superior strength, choking her unconscious during events preceding the Battle of Red Cliffs. Later, she fights Unchou Kan-u for possession of the Dragon Jade, ultimately defeated by Kan-u's heightened aggression.

Subsequent storylines see her facing Bachou Mouki, who sought to confront Sousou. When Kyosho Academy selects representatives for a tournament on Nanban Island, Chuukou is chosen alongside Shikou Soujin. Ambushed by Nanban warriors during transit, she escapes and swims to the island with Mouki. During this journey, the two gradually reconcile as Chuukou shares her perspective on Sousou. She later aids Hakufu and others in rescuing imprisoned fighters and combating Nanban forces.

During an attack by Kansai region warriors targeting Kyosho Academy, Chuukou participates in the defense, depicted in the OVA "Extravaganza Epoch," where the assault serves as a distraction to reach Sousou.
