Description
Yuniko Kozuki, nicknamed "Niko," is an elementary school student and prominent Burst Linker in the Accelerated World. As the second Red King, she leads the Red Legion Prominence after Kuroyukihime decapitated the first king, Red Rider. Her duel avatar, Scarlet Rain, mirrors Yuniko’s real-life proportions and pigtails, manifesting as a small red feminine robot. The avatar features green emerald eyes, a pink forehead sphere, and green Prominence-symbol gems on its arms. A laser gun named "Peacemaker" rests holstered at its waist.

Yuniko initially displays polite manners and cooking skills, but her true nature surfaces as rude and easily frustrated when plans unravel. She harbors a rivalry with Kuroyukihime, often provoking jealousy by interacting with Haruyuki Arita. Though she dismisses bonds between Burst Linkers as meaningless, her actions occasionally reveal hidden kindness—assisting allies under the guise of debt repayment or legion interests. Her refusal to use the "Judgment Blow" on Cherry Rook, the fifth Chrome Disaster, stems from unresolved longing for an "ultimate bond" between parent and child Burst Linkers, exposing internal conflict. In combat, she exhibits sadistic enjoyment of destruction.

Scarlet Rain specializes in long-range artillery, earning the title "The Immobile Fortress." Her signature ability, "The Invincible," summons a massive stationary four-legged artillery unit armed with weapons capable of annihilating legions. While devastating, its immobility and slow turret rotation create close-range vulnerabilities. Her secondary weapon, "Peacemaker," fires moderately potent energy bursts. She employs Incarnate System techniques like "Over Ray," a flamethrower-like arm attack, and "Teleport" for short-distance relocation—capabilities rooted in mental scars from difficulties approaching others.

During the territory battle between Nega Nebulus and Great Wall in "Accel World: Infinite Burst," Scarlet Rain fights alongside Blood Leopard against multiple Burst Linkers. A massive storm interrupts the conflict, destroying the battlefield and forcibly disconnecting all participants. This event disables the Brain Burst application in reality, blocking further access. Nega Nebulus investigates the disturbance, which also causes real-world repercussions, prompting an alliance among the Kings to counter the threat.
