Description
Miranda leads the Killer Commandos in brutal, Rollerballesque monobike races on Venus. She commands authority over teammates Hiro Seno and Will, displaying a decisive presence within the team. When their city faces invasion, her leadership extends beyond the racetrack as she coordinates the team's evacuation and temporary refuge in a garage.
Discovering manager Gary secretly stockpiling weapons triggers her proactive nature. She formulates a plan to attack occupying Ishtar military forces, specifically targeting tanks in the abandoned stadium. Miranda rallies the Killer Commandos for this high-risk assault, convincing them despite Gary's objections. Hiro's support proves crucial in galvanizing the team.
Miranda participates directly in the stadium combat against the Ishtar tanks. The attack meets unexpected resistance, resulting in significant losses including teammates Jack and Gary. The situation escalates until the Aphrodian Freedom Force intervenes, saving the remaining Commandos. The Freedom Force then forcibly recruits the team, valuing their monobiking expertise for military operations. This recruitment creates division: Miranda strongly desires to avoid the conflict, opposing participation alongside Hiro, while others like Will support the fight.
Miranda is characterized by resilience, determination, and a fiery temperament. She has distinctive red hair and wears practical attire, often leather, aligning with her role as a biker. She shares a close, protective relationship with her teammates, exhibiting loyalty despite war's pressures. Following the stadium mission and conscription, Miranda and most surviving Commandos are eventually released from military service. This occurs after Hiro agrees to join Kurtz's Freedom Force squadron, leaving Miranda to navigate the invasion's aftermath without him.
