His resurrection was triggered by the abduction of his son, Roberto Luis, intended as a sacrificial key to activate the mystical Zirkel's Ring. He joined allies Leon and Alfonso in pursuing Roberto's captors, identifying Dario Montoya—the missing Makai Knight of Vazelia—as serving a different master. Dario served Nigra Venus, a powerful Horror once known as Princess Sara and reputed as the world's most beautiful.

German Luis spearheaded a counterattack against Nigra Venus and Dario at the ritual lake site. After an initial failed assault forced retreat, a subsequent battle saw German Luis confront Dario directly while Leon and Ema fought Nigra Venus. Following Nigra Venus's defeat—which dragged Dario into the lake depths—German Luis aided Roberto's rescue, revealing their familial bond. When Nigra Venus re-emerged fused with Dario for a final assault, the merged entity was destroyed by Leon as the Golden Knight Garo. German Luis was married to Ximena Luis, with Roberto as their son.
