Yuzuru Aoba is the older brother of Rinka Aoba, with pale skin and small teal eyes. His mid-neck length indigo hair flares out slightly in various sections, and his thick bangs frame his face, pointed in different directions with a single curled cowlick resting over them.

He possesses a gentle personality and is easily excited, often offering tips to those who seem lost or in need of a confidence boost, a role similar to Meganee. He is kind but appears scatterbrained.

He previously worked as a cameraman at Prism Stone alongside Meganee Akai, who frequently chastised him. Following a story development in episode 102, he became the new manager of the Dear Crown store in Kirajuku.

In his past, he was a member of a group called Arrows with his childhood friends Ayumi Hanakura and Takaya Saegusa. His relationship with his younger sister Rinka was very close during their childhood; they often pretended to have PriChan Casts and recorded each other as if they had their own Pretty Channel. This activity ceased when Yuzuru began spending more time with other kids, creating a temporary rift and causing Rinka distress.

The name Yuzuru can mean "bowstring" or "to concede," and his full name is a pun on one of the Pretty Rhythm series director's stage names.
