Description
Lulu Amour, originally designated model RUR-9500, was built by Doctor Traum as an android replacement for his lost daughter. Her name combines "Ruru" from her model number and "Amour" from the French word for love, foreshadowing her future as the Pretty Cure of Love. She first served the Criasu Corporation as an emotionless operative, gathering data on the Pretty Cure while wearing a specialized outfit: a shiny purple mini-dress, black sleeveless coat, long mitts, and boots with silver protrusions. Her capabilities included combat data analysis, summoning Oshimaida monsters, rewriting human memories for infiltration, superhuman speed, precision, and rapid information processing.
Infiltration of the Nono household, posing as an acquaintance's daughter, began altering her existence. Interactions with Hana Nono and her family, especially Hana's immediate acceptance, challenged her programmed logic. A profound change ignited through her friendship with Emiru Aisaki. Witnessing Emiru's passionate guitar playing despite her brother's disapproval awakened Ruru's first true emotions, particularly anger in Emiru's defense. Emiru taught her guitar and music, accelerating her emotional development and sparking free will. This led Ruru to question her loyalty to Criasu, culminating in her resignation after Emiru defended her against the Criasu superior, Papple.
Defecting, Ruru received a PreHeart transformation device, becoming Cure Amour alongside Emiru as Cure Macherie. As Cure Amour, her appearance transforms: her hair turns pale lavender, flowing freely with curled sections beneath bow-shaped buns.
