Description
Ruru Amour, designated model RUR-9500, is an android crafted by scientist Doctor Traum to replace his deceased daughter. Her early existence involved unintentional disruptions stemming from difficulties interpreting human behavior, culminating in her abandonment after Traum erased her data. She subsequently joined the Criasu Corporation as a part-time operative, initially wearing a distinctive outfit: a shiny purple mini-dress, black sleeveless coat, grey-crimson cape, black boots, and purple garter straps. Following reprogramming, she utilized a black vinyl bodysuit with metallic armor.
As a Criasu agent, Ruru conducted surveillance and attacks against the Pretty Cure team. She extracted "Prickly Powerers" using the phrase "Hope for tomorrow, begone! Negative Wave!" and transformed them into monsters called Oshimaida with the command "I'm ordering you! Oshimaida!". Operating from a UFO-like vessel, she analyzed combat data to enhance Oshimaida capabilities. To infiltrate the Cures' lives, she manipulated the memories of Hana Nono's mother, Sumire, posing as an acquaintance's daughter to reside with the Nono family. Enrolling at L'Avenir Academy under the name Ruru Amour, she excelled academically and athletically due to enhanced processing capabilities like rapid information absorption, super speed, and precision, though her initial emotional detachment resulted in limited social skills.
A significant shift occurred through interactions with the Cures, particularly a daycare visit where she spontaneously protected infants despite her mission objectives. Her developing humanity crystallized upon meeting Emiru Aisaki, who shared a secret passion for guitar playing. Music became a catalyst for Ruru's emerging emotions; she experienced anger defending Emiru from her brother's criticism and learned guitar and singing from Emiru. Though initially declining an offer to become a Pretty Cure due to believing androids were unworthy, she accepted after Emiru defended her from Criasu's Papple.
