Description
Emiru Aisaki, an 11-12-year-old resident of Hagukumi City, attends school as Kotori Nono's classmate. She possesses striking red eyes and auburn hair styled in twin pigtails fastened with red ribbons. Her typical attire features a red and white dress adorned with heart and diamond patterns, complemented by white knee-high socks bearing red diamond accents and red platform shoes. Emiru's defining trait is her fierce desire to protect others, which often escalates into overprotectiveness, leading her to take drastic actions like draining pools to prevent drowning or extinguishing campfires to avoid burns. This behavior initially causes others to perceive her as a troublemaker. She strongly dislikes being cared for herself, preferring instead to act as a guardian, inspired by her admiration for the Pretty Cure team. Her speech characteristically ends with "~nano desu" ("I say") for emphasis.

A passionate musician, Emiru excels at both singing and playing the guitar. She demonstrates this talent early by calming the infant Hugtan with a song. Her musical pursuits face initial opposition from her older brother Masato, who deems the guitar unsuitable for girls, though he eventually becomes supportive. Emiru exhibits several childlike traits: she sleeps with a stuffed toy, requires concrete evidence to believe claims, and shows sensitivity to heat. She also harbors fears of tengu and experiences episodes of sleepwalking. Her name carries thematic weight: "Emiru" can translate to "true love" or "seeing love," while "Aisaki" combines "love" and "small peninsula," aligning with her eventual role as the Pretty Cure of Love.

Emiru's path to becoming Cure Macherie begins when she attempts heroics under the self-styled identity "Cure Emile." During one such attempt, she encounters Ruru Amour, an android from the Criasu Corporation. Their friendship blossoms when Ruru defends Emiru against Masato's criticism, and Emiru shares her music, sparking Ruru's emotional growth. Witnessing the Pretty Cure in battle solidifies their shared resolve to become Cures. When only one PreHeart transformation device remains, it splits to accommodate both, enabling Emiru to transform into Cure Macherie alongside Ruru as Cure Amour.

Formally designated the Pretty Cure of Love & Singing as Cure Macherie, her theme color is red. Her Lolita-style costume features light blonde curled twin-tails, a pink-and-red dress with layered skirts, white thigh-high stockings with red bands, and light pink gloves. Her transformation phrase is "Heart Kiratto!", activated using the PreHeart and Mirai Crystals. She wields the Twin Love Guitar, executing attacks like "Heart Song" and the joint technique "Twin Love Rock Beat" with Cure Amour. Later power-ups include the "Cheerful Style," altering her dress to white and purple with added ribbons, and the "Mother Heart Style," which grants her translucent butterfly-like wings.

Emiru's relationship with Ruru forms her core character arc, evolving from friends to inseparable partners, symbolized by their synchronized fighting style. Emiru's emotional vulnerability surfaces when Ruru plans to return to the future, causing Emiru to temporarily lose her voice from distress. Their connection persists into adulthood. In the 2030 epilogue, Emiru achieves her dream as an idol singer and guitarist. She commissions Dr. Traum to rebuild Ruru (whose memories were reset), reigniting their friendship through music. This future contrasts with an alternate timeline where oppressive family expectations would have suppressed her musical ambitions.

Her family includes parents Miyako and Haidon, theatrical performers who support her, and brother Masato, whose initial sexism shifts to encouragement, exemplified by gifting her concert tickets. Among the Pretty Cure team, she regards Cure Yell (Hana Nono) with particular admiration, often addressing her as "senpai".
