Description
Kirarin, a rabbit-like fairy from Ichigoyama, adopts the human name Ciel Kirahoshi and transforms into Cure Parfait as a Pretty Cure. Her name "Kirahoshi" fuses "kira" (glittering/shining) and "hoshi" (star), while "Ciel" (French for "sky") reflects her connection to light and aspiration. Initially living with her twin brother Pikario, they shared a dream of becoming legendary pâtissiers. Their pursuit took them to Paris for training under master Jean-Pierre Zylberstein, where Kirarin's dedication granted her the ability to transform into a human. Her growing success, however, led her to neglect Pikario, causing his estrangement and eventual alliance with the villain Noir.

Returning to Japan, Ciel operated as the "Genius Pâtissière," running the pop-up shop Ciel de Rêve in Ichigozaka. She concealed her fairy identity, though extreme hunger would revert her to Kirarin. Witnessing the Kirakira Pretty Cures in action inspired admiration for their resolve, particularly Ichika Usami (Cure Whip), prompting Ciel to reveal her true nature and request training to become a Cure herself. Her reunion with Pikario, now the antagonistic Julio, intensified her guilt over their fractured relationship. This emotional turmoil allowed Noir to drain her "Kirakiraru" (energy within sweets), plunging her into despair.

A pivotal moment occurred when Ciel tasted Pikario's imperfect waffles, understanding his unspoken efforts to comfort her. This inspired her creation of the "Pegasus Parfait," which became her Animal Sweet. Using it with a Sweets Pact, she transformed into Cure Parfait, the Pretty Cure embodying "dreams and hope" with a pegasus and parfait motif. During her debut battle, Pikario sacrificed himself to purify Noir's corrupted rod into her primary weapon, the "Rainbow Ribbon," leaving him comatose before later recovery. As Cure Parfait, she unleashes attacks like "Un・Deux・Très Bien! Kiracle・Rainbow!" and "Parfait Ètoile," distinguished by her unique incantation "Kirakirakirarin" (a nod to her fairy name). She later achieved powered-up forms: Super Cure Parfait and A La Mode Style, enhancing her wings, dress complexity, and abilities.

Ciel balances diligence and compassion, striving for pastry perfection to spread joy while initially hiding vulnerabilities like her hunger-induced transformation. Her arc shows growth in accepting help and collaboration, extending kindness even to former enemies like Bibury, whom she eventually befriended and employed. Key relationships include her reconciliation with Pikario; mentorship under Solaine at Paris's MON TRESOR shop, repaired after demonstrating sincere passion; and camaraderie with the other Cures, especially Ichika. Post-series, she and Pikario co-own a patisserie.

In media beyond the main series, such as films, her powers are contingent on maintaining human form. She occasionally uses French phrases like "Oui" or "Très bien!"—the latter learned from her mentor Jean-Pierre.
