Description
Unberto Mori served as deputy captain aboard the attack submarine *Goten* during Operation Eternal Light in 2039. He fought in the battle against the monster Manda within the Strait of Dover, contributing to its defeat. This action earned him appointment as captain of the emigrant spaceship *Aratrum* nearly a decade later.

Commanding the *Aratrum* during humanity's return to Earth after 20,000 years, Mori received data from a reconnaissance drone confirming Godzilla's survival. He dismissed outright suggestions the creature's roar could be thunder, immediately recognizing the threat. After Godzilla annihilated United Earth forces, Mori demonstrated decisive leadership by authorizing a strict 48-hour search window for survivors, stipulating abandonment of Earth if no contact occurred. When contact was established, he assembled the Central Committee to receive personnel. The arrival of only three survivors prompted him to correctly deduce Captain Haruo Sakaki had remained on Earth to fight Godzilla.

Mori initiated communication with Sakaki at Mechagodzilla City, attempting to recall him to the *Aratrum*. He expressed disapproval of Sakaki's decision to disobey orders and continue the operation, but Sakaki terminated the transmission before Mori could issue further commands. As the operation progressed, Mori displayed skepticism regarding its feasibility, particularly after analyzing the immense three-terawatt power output of Godzilla's atomic breath. His leadership involved balancing competing interests among Central Committee members Takeshi J. Hamamoto, Halu-elu Dolu-do, and Endurph, concerning survivor treatment and potential retreat.

Following Mechagodzilla City's destruction, Mori engaged in discussions regarding disciplinary actions against Sakaki. He hesitated when Dolu-do's faction seized the ship's power station demanding punishment, concerned about escalating social tensions aboard. During King Ghidorah's emergence, Mori witnessed a singularity appear near the ship. He ordered full power to the thrusters to evade the threat, but the steering systems failed. Mori faced Ghidorah directly before the creature attacked, resulting in a nuclear explosion that destroyed the *Aratrum* and killed everyone aboard, including Mori.

Physically, Mori appeared as an older man with gray hair, a gray beard, and grayish eyes, bearing a prominent scar over his left eye. His personality combined decisive command with caution regarding high-risk operations involving potential loss of human life. He maintained authority during crises but showed reluctance to escalate conflicts among the human and alien factions aboard.
