Description
Arisa Ichigaya is a third-year student at Hanasakigawa Girls' High School and Poppin'Party's keyboardist. Her family owns the pawnshop Ryuuseidou, where she previously worked extensively, sparking ghost rumors among peers due to her scarce school attendance. She lives in a traditional house attached to the pawnshop, its basement serving as Poppin'Party's main rehearsal spot. The Random Star guitar, found there by Kasumi Toyama, originated in this shop.

As a child, Arisa studied piano alongside Tae Hanazono and Rei Wakana in a music school's Pianist Course. She later quit, citing lost motivation and middle school entrance exam preparations. Her early reclusiveness and sharp tongue fueled frequent arguments, especially with Kasumi. She battles honesty about her feelings, flustering and stammering when complimented, particularly by bandmates. Academically gifted, she achieved top grades despite self-professed laziness and minimal socializing.

Arisa joined Poppin'Party after Kasumi's relentless recruitment. Though initially resistant and claiming coercion, she resumed keyboard playing to support the band, breaking from her shut-in life. She gradually opened up, eventually becoming Hanasakigawa's student council vice president. Her clashes with Kasumi evolved into a dynamic reflecting mutual trust, and she bonded deeply with other members while denying her own loneliness.

Her hobbies include nurturing bonsai trees—daily conversing with named specimens like Tamagawa, Tonegawa, and Popipa—and internet browsing. She chronically overpacks for trips and always carries a cherished fluffy towel. She favors anmitsu, brown rice, and hard-boiled eggs but avoids anything with leeks.

In an earlier story iteration, Arisa's father died, leaving behind the Random Star guitar and a "BanG_Dream!" notebook predicting her band-forming journey, mirroring his own band-leading past. This version also featured two cats, Zanji and Bal, and depicted differing personality and circumstances.

Standing 152 cm tall—matching classmates Chisato and Hagumi—she addresses the player character without honorifics in-game interactions but uses them for Marina.
