Description
Melos holds the rank of Captain in the Inter Galactic Defense Force's Andromeda Nebula Branch. Hailing from the Land of Light, he stands 45 meters tall and weighs 45,000 tons. He is the biological brother of Fightas and fosters Aura.

His most significant documented action occurred during the conflict initiated by Demon King Jackal, who assassinated multiple Ultra Brothers. Melos deployed to Earth equipped with specialized armor called the Cosmo Tector. This armor offers extensive defense against energy assaults and gravitational hazards like black holes. It also features offensive systems: the abdominal plate transforms into a projectile boomerang (Andrang) capable of severing an opponent's horn, while the shoulder pads discharge the Andro Laser N75, an electrical beam powerful enough to eliminate entire monster armies. Melos also employs techniques like the Laser Shot Andro Melos beam and the Andro Kick in combat.

During the confrontation on Jackal's home planet, Melos engaged the tyrant directly. After cutting off one of Jackal's horns, Melos was deceived by the adversary's feigned surrender. Jackal exploited his momentary compassion, deactivating the Cosmo Tector and unleashing a destructive ray. Though severely wounded, Melos survived. His intervention created a tactical opening, enabling Zoffy to revive the fallen Ultra Brothers and ultimately defeat Jackal.

Beyond this event, Melos appears in expanded narratives. He is referenced in the 2006 *Ultraman Mebius* manga, where Mebius formally addresses him by rank, indicating their professional relationship within the Inter Galactic Defense Force hierarchy. He also features in literary spin-offs like *Ultraman Mebius Gaiden: Super Galaxy Wars* and *Ultraman Mebius Side Story: Armored Darkness, The Jackal Legion's Revenge!*.

A recurring fan theory proposes a familial link between Melos and Ultraman Mebius due to visual similarities. Official sources clarify that Mebius' design draws inspiration from the Tsushima leopard cat, while only Ultraman Xenon's aesthetics are confirmed as influenced by Melos. The 2006 manga interaction between Mebius and Melos reinforces their roles as colleagues.
